The seasonal West Madison Canal channels for 385 feet through the lower portion and support a nice grove of large mature trees.  These trees also serve as good wind-break.  The view of the Madison Valley is outstanding and Madison Meadows Golf Course is only a few hundred feet away.  There is also a very private picnic area located along the canal.
